Cool and cloudy conditions with intermittent sun this weekend. Tosaka won the day with a career best of 20. In second place was Gordon with 7, then Forrest with 4 and Koga with 3. M. Lacey with a Deuce and Amira with 1. Swift snuck in one win against Koga before a Tosaka shot sent him rolling over his ankle and out of commission with a broken metatarsal. Doctors have advised a 4 week hiatus from handball. Ouch.
One on one wins against the champ are as follows; 2 for Forrest, One for Gordon, One for M. Lacey and One for Pinsker. Also of note was a girls' finals game; Koga vs. Pinsker - with Koga for the win. Plenty of low down dirty shots and impressive returns. Then after a little smokie break plenty of impressively bad shots and whiffed balls. Absent from this weeks roster were Lacey, Forbes and Ciaravino who have gone temporarily insane. The Toronto Handball League wishes them a full and speedy recovery
